Hey sweeties! Today I want to show you my full look that I wore in Brussels a couple of days ago. You were all so excited about the outfit that I decided to write about it! So here we go... !!! First of all I just love to wear my hat in the fall. A hat gives that extra touch to your outfit. I wanted to create a classy but still tough look. The grey hat in combination with the grey coat makes it very classy. I made the look more sassy by combining it with a black leather pants, some knitwear and last but not least my AWESOME new boots from Zalando by River Island. The ceinture ankle boots look like the boots of Balenciaga, but than much cheaper. I just L.O.V.E them ! Coat: Kocca (from Movies Ghent) - Sweater: Zara - Leather Pants: Zara Ankle boots: Zalando - Hat: Zalando - Bag: Louis Vuitton Hope you enjoyed it!
Thanks for reading!!! xoxo Yaelle

After receiving a mail with the question if I wanted to enter the Creative Content Awards, I immediatly started brainstorming. I'm really happy to have this opportunity and I'm super excited! So here is my submission for the Zalando Style Icons/ Creative Content Icons! Enjoy -xxx- I chose to write about 2 of my favorite outfits for the moment and especially about my new rock boots from Zalando. I want to show you that you can create a whole different look with just one pair of shoes. The first look is a more casual outfit and the second look is a classy outfit. I really want to focus on the boots in this blogpost, so I also made a small clip where you will follow the footsteps of Yaelle (myself :p) and of course in these awesome booties from Zalando. LOOK 1 In this outfit I'm wearing a black leather jacket with an oversized knitted pull. Underneath it I'm wearing an old pair of jeans, but I turned it in to a ripped jeans myself! Under the jeans I wore my fishnet tights. These tights give the look an extra touch. And this all I combined with my rock boots. Finish your outfit with a cool beanie, and your ready to shine! Jacket: Zara Pull: Zara Jeans: DIY Beanie: Zara Kids Tights: Calzedonia Boots: Zalando Handbag: Zara LOOK 2 The second look is a more classy look. Here I'm wearing my booties with a leather skirt, a bling bling top, a classic black jacket and last but not least a hat! 3 November was THE day: We had to wait for it for a long-time but the moment was finally there; the launching of the KENZOxH&M collection! I was so curious and super excited :D. I went to the store in Brussels in the Nieuwstraat and went straight to the corner with their collection. I need to say I wasn't really a fan of all those flashy prints but there were a few items that I absolutely fell in love with! I've always wanted a KENZO-sweater, but I just didn't want to pay that much of money for a sweater. So the launch of their collection with H&M was the occasion to buy an affordable KENZO-sweater. I bought the black sweater with the yellow tiger and the special collar. (on the photo above) There were some more items I loved but my wallet said stop, so sadly enough I couldn't buy some of their other pretty items :(. But here are some of my other favorite items of the collection: 1. The Teddy Bomberjack 2 The black blouse with stonesLet me know what you think about their collection! Greetzzz x
xoxo Yaelle Why Goldsin? Goldsin is one of the newest concepts and it's something differtent than a normal jewel. Just by using this 24 karat gold or pure silver tattoo you will shine like never before. Wear your Goldsin for the holidays or just during a regular day at work. The tattoo is very easy to apply and you will sparkle for a whole week. They offer you different collections such as: the Great Gatsby collection, their Skull collection, the Flower collection, the Macrame collection and so on. Every girl will find the perfect Goldsin jewel for every occassion! How to bring on your Goldsin? Step 1: First decide where you want to bring on your tattoo Some Goldsin tattoos are the prettiest on your arm or on your hand others are more beautiful on your back or as a necklace. Step 2: Then clean your skin with some regular soap and afterwards make sure it's dry again. Step 3: Release very carefully the transparant foil from the Goldsin tattoo. Step 4: Place your gold jewel on your skin with the golden side facing down. Step 5: Pressure very slowly the golden jewel against your skin, so that the paper sticks lightly against it. Step 6: Then moisten the paper with a wet cloth or a washcloth and do that for about 30 seconds. Step 7: Release the white paper from the skin, but very carefully. When the Goldsin is ready it will slip off itself. Step 8: After this, you let your golden jewel dry for a while. Where to buy?
As a tourism student I just love to work out trips myself. In this blogpost I'll tell you everything about my trip to Rhodes and give you all the tips you need! How to get there I booked a direct flight to Rhodes with Jetairfly from Luik. Other possibilities is to depart from Brussels, Charleroi or Ostend. The service on board was amazing and during the flight back home we even got champagne for free! The villa We stayed in Filloxenia Villas a super luxurious villa nearby the beach. The villa has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a private pool, kitchen and 7 terraces. On every terrace we had a wonderful view over the sea and the high mountains. The villa is just a few minutes away from the lovely villages such as Lindos, Pefkos, Prasonisi and Lardos. The owner of the villa was so friendly. When we arrived he already bought us some freshly made cookies. Because we needed a vehicle to do some shopping and we couldn't hire a car (you need to be 21), we decided to hire a quad. I recommend you all to hire a quad, because it is just more fun and really easy to use. The downside of renting a quad is that you can't drive long distances with it, but luckily Rhodes is a small island. The must sees and must do's 1. Lindos Lindos is a small and typical white village and certainly a top attraction in Rhodes. Lindos excists of cosy small streets where you can stroll around. When you are in Lindos you must visit the acropolis. But first you need the walk all the way up. Another option is to pay for a donkey that takes you all the way up or down. When you walk to the acropolis you will pass some small shops where you can buy souvenirs and everything. Once your on top of the acropolis you'll have an amazing view over the village and the bay. 2. Rhodes city The old town of Rhodes is surrounded by big walls. Cool is that you can walk around the medieval wall. Also keep an eye on the beautiful port. Everywhere in the city you'll find gothic buildings with cute shops and terraces. In the new town of Rhodes you should definitely do some shopping! ;) 3. Boattrip to Symi Island We took the boat from the port of Rhodes to Symi Island. Symi is a very small Greek Island and is known for its sponges. When you arrive in Symi you get blown away by all the beautiful and colorful houses. The island also has a pretty clock tower. Also make sure you visit a fish restaurant and enjoy the delicious freshly caught fish. Sunday the 14th of August it was finally time to put on our space clothes and to jump in our rocketship towards WCD16! It was already the 3rd edition of WCD, but it was my first time! The theme this year was space, so first I needed to find the perfect space outfit and then it was all about the yummy food, drinks, art and the awesome music! #We can dress I chose for a metallic faux leather short which I combined with an oversized grey shirt with two big stars on it. I bought these two pieces in the #NANOUK stocksale. It's one of my favourite brands. You should all check this out. For more info go to www.preloved.be. To complete the outfit I wore a pair of shiny silver shoes from Zalando and a cute shoulderbag from Skinnydip London. #We can taste This festival wasn't all about the music. You could taste dishes of some of the best chefs in Belgium. There was a food market where different restaurants, bars,... had their own stand; like Blend, The Pharmacy, Balls & Glory,... First of all I tried the grilled Wagyu UFO by BrasserieBoulevard, a classic burger with Wagyu beef combined with sourdough bread, cheddar, onions, avocado and black-pepper mayonaise. Then I had a delicious gin tonic with rosemary, blueberry and Pure Leaf made by the famous cocktailbar in Knokke, The Pharmacy. To finish off I tried the best macaron ever by Joost Arijs. It was a large raspberry macaron with vanilla cream and raspberry and yes it tastes as delicious as it looks! It was certainly a more than successful edition of WCD! I already want to go back and can't wait to get to know the theme of next year! SPACE OUT AND SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!!! A week ago me and my girls decided to try out Gaston. Gaston is a rooftop bar & restaurant in Ghent with a spectacular view over the city. It's a pop-up rooftop so it only opens its doors in July and August. The other months you can hire this unique place for events We started with a delicious and refreshing Cointreau Fizz. A perfect alcoholic drink for the summer. As an appetizer we shared some homemade shrimp croquettes. Then I took a steak with a nice salad and french fries. My tummy was filled with love! I really am a dessert person, so I absolutely wanted to order their delicious moelleux. JUST PERFECT!!! I recommend you all to visit this lovely place. The staff is super friendly, the food is so tasty and the view is amazing! Below you will find some more pictures. ENJOY xxx Thanks 4 reading! xoxo Yaelle Maybe you already noticed, but the bandana look is totally back! In this blogpost I'll show you in how many ways you can use yours and also where you can buy it. With a bandana you can create a rock chick look, but also a more classy look. Go check out my favorite looks! ENJOY xoxo Yaelle 1.Use your bandana in your hairYou can use your bandana in different ways in your hair. It helps when you have a bad hair day :p It's also perfect as a festival look! 2. Use your bandana as a scarfThe second way is to use a bandana as a scarf. The scarf can be tied in different ways (see pictures) so you can always create another style and a complete different look. Also cool is to use your bandana like a choker (picture in the middle) 3. Use your bandana as a beltWearing your bandana in your shorts as a belt or just as a fun detail. It makes your look more spicy and special! 4. Use your bandana as a braceletThe bandana looks also perfect as a bracelet around your wrist. 5. Use your bandana on your handbag
Where to buy a bandana? The culotte pants is the new trend for this summer. In this outfit post I'll tell you how you can wear your culotte and how I wear mine. These pants are perfect for a day of shopping, but it can also be very classy as a dinner outfit. I bought my culotte in the Bershka. It has white stripes, but it exists also in blue with white stripes. I wore it with a simple white tee and a beige bernadette that my grandma made for me. It's also cool to wear it with a jeans jacket or a leather jacket. To complete the outfit wear flatform shoes (espadrilles, sandals, sneakers) underneath it. When you want to go for a more classy outfit I would wear it with a croptop like the croptop I bought in the Zara with fringes (check picture below) and some high heels which makes you also look taller. My favorite culotte pantsOn 23 June 2016, it was finally so far! The first NYX-store in Belgium opened his doors (HOORAY!). Now we can shop this qualitative, budgetproof make-up in Ghent. How cool is that? The store is located in Langemunt 60 in Ghent next to the Primark. The first 25O customers got a small cute bag and the customers who bought for more than 70 euros got a make-up case. Unfortunately, I was too late. After standing in line for more than 3 hours in thunder and rain, it was time to enter the shop! I bought myself a matte liquid lipstick from their Lip Lingerie collection and a retractable jewel lip liner with silver reflects. I really love their lip products. I love the way it covers the curves of your lips and it really sticks for a long time. Another reason why I like their lip products is that it does"t dry out your lips. With other lip products from other brands I was left with super dry lips and I really hate that. You get value for money with these products. For these two goodies I only paid 15,95 euros, so not expensive at all. You could compare it a bit with Kylie's lip products, but much more cheaper! I would recommend it for every college student who loves make-up, but does"t want to pay a lot of money for it. They are planning on opening other shops in other Belgian cities. So be excited for that! I will definitely go back as soon as possible. In the meantime I made myself another wish-list for when I go back! I dropped my wish-list for you here below. Check it out!!! :D 1. Make-up setting spray (Matte finish) This setting spray makes sure your make-up sticks the whole day and your face doesn't shine because of the matte finish. It's light so not uncomfortable at all. 2. Wonder StickYou can use the wonder stick to conceal, to highlight and to contour. It's really easy to use. It exist in 4 different shade combinations including one universal shade. Really a must-have! 3. flawless finish blending spongeThe sponge blends very well your foundation and this one is much more cheaper. The original beautyblender costs almost 17 euros. 4. the eyebrow markerPerfect to fill your natural eyebrows. It doesn't look fake at all and it lasts all day! 5. Proof it! The waterproof eyeshadow primerI really hate it when my eyeshadow looks greasy after a long day of working. This primer makes sure your eyeshadow stays in place no matter what weather it is because its waterproof as well.
